The Opposites
Editorial / Typeface Design

What city do you see as a perfect society? In the book The Republic, Plato was sharing his thoughts on the virtues an ideal city should have. Until today, people have strong arguments for and against his utopia, and the project deals with people’s opposing views around Plato’s ideal city. As the designer, I visualized my own view and bias which affected the typographic & layout system throughout the whole book: seeing Plato’s ideal city as a corrupt city that would soon collapse.
