Ritual Project
Visual Language
Duration: 5 weeks
Size: 5 x 8.25 inch / painting, 1080 x 1080 px / digital
What can I do every day and stay motivated? The goal of the project is to learn design thinking process and how to start a self-initiated project and create something everyday. As a designer who have more than 10 years of painting experience, I tried to utilize my painterly aspects and convert my paintings into a digital graphic form in the appearance of random creatures. This project stands as my identity of becoming a designer from a painter.
• Process
A distinct graphic language of how I translate the visual elements into new graphic forms was developed. The photos of our environment were broken into its basic formal elements, then extracted my emotions from the photographs by making abstract drawings and created a new form of creatures out of it.
